ABOUT THE ARTIST
Rachel Clark is an artist from Stafford Springs, Connecticut. She received her BFA in 2008 from the School of Fine Arts at the University of Connecticut, where she studied painting and printmaking. Her work ranges from small, personal prints composed from familiar objects, plant life, and carved block prints to large oil paintings that evoke a sense of narrative and place. Her work has been shown in both juried and solo exhibitions. She has experience teaching art classes for children and adults through UConn's Community School of the Arts in Storrs, where classes focused on a variety of media, including painting, printmaking, and clay. Currently she creates as part of the Studio 4 Artists' Collective in downtown Stafford Springs, Connecticut.
